First impressions are that this is a great little robot. Very reliable docking. Excellent app and strong WiFi connectivity. Excellent build quality. On most cutting heights the shell of the robot is lower than the blades, this means it is pushing through grass. Time will tell how well this works near the edges on buffalo grass. Also the absence of mud guards means the tops of the wheels don’t pass through low hanging vegetation very easily at the edges. A tip when laying the wire, the robot tracks the wire at the front so when the wire turns right it tends to cut the corner and can hit the rear, so it is best to extend the wire it bit further before turning right or leave a gap of greater than 26 cm. This applies to any turn to the right and at angles much less than the 90 deg were the triangle pattern should be used.

I have had my Landroid for a bit over 2 months now, waited to make sure my review was correct. Lets start with setup, it is very simple, running the border is very simple, but let me give you a solid tip. As soon as you can bury the cable I suggest you do it. I pinned the cable down very tight, but a couple of times when the mower was turning on the cable those chunky tractor tyres grabbed the cable and pulled it up, then the mower promptly chopped the cable :). Once I got the cable buried I have had no further issues with the border cable at all. Setting up the mower for zones and to use with the app were very simple, just read everything a couple of times before you go through the steps. My mower has been mowing every day except weekends and has not missed a beat. I have just changed my weekly schedule to 3 days a week, hopefully this will make it last a bit longer over the long haul. Battery that came with it I think is 2 Ah lasts for nearly 2 hours before it goes back to recharge, so I think when I have to replace battery I will get the larger one even though it is not needed. Over all I am super happy with my purchase. Except the fact, as soon as I got mine they went on sale 🙁 but anyway great buy and the guys here give great service and fast shipping.

It’s good, I love it. I have a small 64m2 almost square lawn and this robot covers pretty much the entire lawn in one go. When I’m stressing and working long hours, it’s good to know that the lawn is being looked after. Replaceable battery, automatic docking, app to schedule cutting, rain sensor, it’s got everything I need.
